St Albans Road And Landslip Repairs Progressing

St Albans Road sustained significant damage during the 2022 floods. As part of the Australian and NSW Government's Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, Council is currently undertaking landslip repair works in the St Albans area.

A road verge repaired.

This includes the repair of seven landslip sites along St Albans Road and six sites along Upper MacDonald Road. Some sites are already completed and the expected completion date for all landslip repair work is September this year (weather permitting).

After the landslips on St Albans Road are completed, Council will then be in a position to begin repairing 14,000 square metres of road pavements across several locations on St Albans Road under the same disaster recovery funding. Council is currently sourcing a suitable contractor for the work and the MacDonald Valley community will be notified of when works are anticipated to start once a contractor has been engaged.
