St George Police have charged three people and have seized a number of stolen cars, numberplates and drugs as part of an ongoing investigation into property related offences in Sydney's south.
In March 2026, officers attached to St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation into a number of property related offences following reports a number of stolen items – including vehicles – were being stored at a unit block in Peakhurst.
Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a unit block on Forest Road, Peakhurst, about 5.15pm yesterday (Sunday 29 March 2026).
During the search, officers located and seized multiple sets of stolen number plates, a knife, and small amounts of cocaine, testosterone and methamphetamine. Officers also recovered two stolen vehicles in the basement carpark of the complex.
Following the search, a 33-year-old woman and two men aged 31 and 35 were arrested at the scene.
The woman and the 35-year-old man were taken to Hurstville Police Station.
The 31-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for an apparent stab wound to the left leg and taken to St George Hospital for treatment.
He was later conveyed to Hurstville Police Station with the source of the injury remaining under investigation.
Police will allege that the 31-year-old man supplied a false name to police whilst in custody.
The woman was charged with:
• Supply prohibited drug more than indictable & less than commercial quantity
• Possess prohibited drug
The 35-year-old man was charged with:
• Take & drive conveyance without consent of owner
• Enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner/occupier
• Larceny
• Tamper with number-plate confiscation notice
• Custody of knife in public place
• Possess prohibited drug
• Supply prohibited drug more than indictable & less than commercial quantity
The 31-year-old man was charged with:
• Drive conveyance taken without consent of owner
• Larceny
• State false name to police officer
All three were refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Monday 30 March 2026).
