Stabbing at Brompton

Police are investigating a stabbing at Brompton this morning.

Just before 11am on Wednesday 18 January, police and paramedics were called to West Street after reports a man had been stabbed.

When police arrived, they found a 24-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment however his injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.

Police believe that the incident occurred at another location.

A car that the injured man arrived in will be forensically examined.

Western District police are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
