Detectives investigating an incident in which a man armed with a firearm stole cash from a business at Torquay earlier this week have released footage as they continue to search for the man involved, Queensland Police say.
Around 12.30pm on Sunday, October 7, the man entered the reception office of an Exeter Street caravan park and stole cash and mobile phones from the front desk.
When a female employee disturbed the man, he produced what appeared to be a hand gun before fleeing the scene.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall with a skinny build and dark hair.
Anyone who may recognise the man depicted in the footage or who may have information regarding the incident is urged to contact police.
