Stolen car appeal, Stafford

Police are investigating after a delivery driver was assaulted before having his car stolen in Stafford last night, August 22.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 10pm, the driver, a 34-year-old South Brisbane man, was delivering a food order along Sloane Street where he came to a stop and exited his vehicle.

The delivery driver was then approached by a man wearing a dark hoodie and was pushed.

The man left the scene in the stolen car, followed by a dark SUV with three people inside.

The delivery driver was not physically injured.

Anyone with information or who has seen the stolen car, a gold 2009 Honda Civic with Queensland registration 610LPF, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
