Police are investigating after a stolen car was involved in a crash at St Peters last night.
Just before 9.15pm on Friday 14 August, emergency services were called to the intersection of Stephen Terrace and Eighth Avenue, St Peters, after reports of a two-car collision.
The stolen Mazda collided with the BMW before leaving the roadway and crashing through a brush fence.
Following the crash, witnesses reported an occupant of the Mazda fled the scene on foot.
Two men were located in the Mazda sedan. They were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The men, both aged 31, from Elizabeth South and Salisbury North, were arrested and charged with illegal use.
They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
Investigations are continuing to identify and locate the driver of the stolen car, which was taken from outside a Parafield Gardens home on 1 August.
The driver of the BMW was a 35-year-old Manningham man. He was not injured, but one of his passengers, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution. A 3-year-old girl in the back of the car was uninjured.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
