Stolen car dumped at Northfield, South Australia

Police are investigating after a stolen car was found at Northfield this morning and have just made three arrests.

Police were called to Linden Avenue, Northfield just after 5.30am on Thursday 24 March by reports of a car abandoned in the middle of the road. Three people were seen running from the car.

Checks revealed the white Nissan Pulsar had been stolen from Kilkenny on 15 March.

Police searched the area for the suspects with the assistance of Police Dog Axe and located three suspects in nearby Windsor Avenue. The trio were arrested and are being taken to the City Watch House for charging. More details will be provided later this morning.

The car was towed out of the roadway and will be examined by crime scene investigators this morning.
