Two teenagers have been charged after police intercepted a stolen vehicle at Surfers Paradise last night.
Around 10.30pm a number of stolen vehicles were identified travelling north along the M1.
One of these vehicles, a red Mazda CX3 was located abandoned at Nerang.
A tyre deflation device was used on a second stolen vehicle, a Porsche Macan at Arundel.
This vehicle eventually stopped at Admiralty Drive at Surfers Paradise where two boys were taken into custody.
A 15-year-old boy from Elanora was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 13-year-old boy from Pimpama was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Both boys have been remanded in police custody to appear in the Southport Childrens Court today, May 26.
