Police have four juvenile males in custody following an operation involving three allegedly stolen vehicles across Cairns overnight and this morning, 27 May.
Initial investigations indicate that a white GWM Tank was allegedly stolen from Earlville, a silver Toyota Yaris was allegedly stolen from Parramatta Park early this morning, and a silver Mitsubishi Pajero was allegedly stolen from Edmonton sometime between 25 and 26 May.
It will be alleged that the vehicles were observed driving dangerously through several Cairns suburbs throughout the day and were involved in multiple incidents.
Polair assisted officers on the ground as police monitored the movements of the vehicles.
Around 3:00pm, officers successfully deployed a tyre deflation device in Cairns City, intercepted one of the vehicles, and took four juveniles into custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
