ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

Slow moving showers and thunderstorms bringing heavy rainfall to Parts of the Daly District.

A stationary trough over the central Top End has triggered a line of slow moving showers and thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Palmerston.
