NT Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) crews were called to a structure fire on Cavanagh Street in the Darwin CBD at 2:00pm this afternoon.
Firefighters arrived to find significant smoke on the 10th floor of the apartment building, with one unit alight. Crews quickly conducted a search of surrounding apartments, evacuated residents, and extinguished the fire shortly after.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. NT Police Force and St John Ambulance NT also attended the scene, however no injuries were reported.
