The Bayside Student Excellence Awards were proudly presented to outstanding local school students at a vibrant ceremony in Rockdale Town Hall on Friday 21 November 2025.
This prestigious award recognises students who have shown exceptional kindness, respect for others, leadership among their peers, and a commitment to going above and beyond positively contribute to their school community.
Each year, Bayside Council invites Principals from primary and secondary schools across the Bayside LGA to nominate students who exemplify these values and demonstrate a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.
Congratulations to all the remarkable students who received a 2025 Student Excellence Award Certificate and a gift voucher in recognition of their dedication, character, and achievements.
Mayor Edward McDougall said
"It was wonderful to present these annual awards, sponsored by Bayside Council, to promote excellence in local schools.
"It is important we continue to recognise students who have displayed exceptional leadership qualities or excelled in their academic studies, chosen sport, or the arts," Mayor Edward McDougall said.
