A trio of OneSchool Global (OSG) students from Australia and New Zealand has had their research on supercooled water published in a leading international scientific journal.
OSG Secondary Teacher Dr Peter Wilson collaborated on the paper, which has now appeared in the Japan Journal of Research, with Sydney students, Thomasin Fooks and Kelsie Kennard, and Hastings student Makana Senior.
Dr Wilson said the research paper was the culmination of several recent experiments carried out by the students to explore how supercooled water behaves.
"Supercooled water is water that has been cooled below its freezing point without becoming a solid, and we wanted to look closely at how it behaves," said Professor Wilson.
