Sudden Deaths Investigation At Charleville

A crime scene has been declared after a man and a woman were found deceased at a residence in Charleville this morning, 6 August.

Emergency services were initially called to a King Street address following reports of an assault yesterday evening, 5 August.

A Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) declaration was made at 5.59pm and was later revoked at 1.42am.

Specialist police attended the scene and located a 45-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, deceased.

No police officers or members of the public were injured during the incident.

The matter will be investigated by the Ethical Standards Command, and a report is being preparing for the coroner.
