Support for those isolating in response to COVD-19

Latest news

If you or someone you know is not self-sufficient, has no other means of support and is isolating in response to COVD-19, more assistance is coming.

The Department of Communities is working on a welfare support plan that will include general guidance as well as advice about food supply. Where there are issues with food or other essential supplies, please seek assistance from family members in the first instance. Where there is no family, seek assistance from friends and/or community members. If there are still issues, you can seek help via the Department of Health.

The Red Cross will also be providing support with a phone outreach program for people isolated in their homes. In addition, they will activate their Register Find Reunite program to ensure that family members can locate and check in on each other.
