Supporting Women's Health And Fitness At Yarra Leisure

Yarra City Council

We're celebrating women's health and fitness with a special session at Richmond Recreation Centre on Tuesday 17 November.

Join award-winning educator and women's health specialist, Mish Wright, to learn about the important role exercise plays in managing menopause symptoms and supporting women's long-term health and wellbeing.

Explore our Women's Only Training Space and learn about the Menopause Training Matrix (MTM) program recently completed by our gym team. The MTM program empowers our gym instructors to better support women experiencing perimenopause and menopause in the gym.

This event will provide an opportunity to meet our community partners, cohealth, Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House and North Richmond Community Health, and find out about the services, programs and supports they have available to women in the community.

Who can attend?

This event is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about women's health, menopause, available community supports and the role of physical activity in women's health and wellbeing.
