Survey guides Campaspe Libraries

Rochester-Library-&-Community-Hub

Campaspe Shire Libraries have a busy schedule of events and programs planned in response to a survey asking for community input.

General Manager Development, Paul McKenzie, said the survey was completed by library members earlier in the year, offering feedback about the programs currently on offer along with suggestions for new ones.

"The common areas of interest have been very useful in assisting us to tailor library offerings that best suit the community's needs," Mr McKenzie said.

"Tech assistance was on the top of the list, with specific mentions for assistance with mobile devices, application support, email and how to utilise online library resources."

"Presentations from authors was another popular response, along with book clubs, knitting and crochet, cards and other games, family history and gardening."

"Very importantly, people indicated that they looked forward to connecting with others in a supported environment, even if it's just for a cup of tea and a chat."
