Suspicious fire investigation at Logan

Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance following a suspicious fire at a Slacks Creek home this morning, March 23.

At approximately 2.30am, emergency services were called to a fire at a Janice Street address.

Upon the arrival of emergency services, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

Police have declared a crime scene at the property and are waiting for the scene to be declared safe before conducting a full examination.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has dashcam or CCTV from the surrounding area, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
