Police are investigating a series of suspicious fires that occurred at Bracken Ridge this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Around 2.30pm, emergency services were called to a bike path adjacent to the Deagon Deviation where a number of grass fires had been reported.
A number of fires were located along the bike path causing significant damage to a sound barrier between the road and several houses.
The fire also caused minor damage to a number of neighbouring properties.
Police are appealing for anyone travelling in the area around the time of the fires with dashcam footage or CCTV.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour around the time of the fires is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
