Suspicious tattoo parlour fire at Lismore

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a tattoo parlour in the state's north this morning.

About 2.30am (Sunday 23 January 2022), emergency services responded to reports of an explosion at a business on Ballina Road, Lismore Heights.

On arrival, Fire and Rescue NSW officers located the parlour well-alight.

The blaze was extinguished a short time later; however, the building has been significantly damaged.
