At around 5:30am today (Monday), emergency services responded to a report of a structure fire at a block of units under construction at Hart Place, Rokeby.
Fire and smoke damage to the one of the units is expected to exceed $100,000, Sergeant Adrian Mollon said.
"The fire is being treated as suspicions, with investigations continuing throughout the day. It is believed that several hot water cylinders stored in the unit have been stolen prior to the fire being reported."
"The quick response from the local TFS brigade prevented further damage to the unit."
