The Swan Hill region is set to sparkle once again this festive season, with A Murray Little Christmas bringing a wave of community spirit, joy and celebration across the region.

Mayor, Councillor Stuart King said from twinkling lights to community celebrations, Council is preparing to spread plenty of Christmas cheer.

"The Swan Hill Town Hall will once again be transformed into a Christmas Wonderland, a fan favourite over the past two years and perfect for capturing some DIY Christmas photos. The Swan Hill tree lighting event is scheduled for 20 November 2025, while Robinvale's will take place on 12 December 2025, offering wonderful opportunities for communities to come together," Cr King said.

In keeping with the A Murray Little Christmas theme, the Swan Hill Riverfront will feature a subtle Christmas light trail.

"Stretching from Riverside Park down to the PS Gem, you will be able to discover various festive touches that are sure to enhance our community Christmas spirit.

"Meanwhile, the Swan Hill and Robinvale CBD will shine with festive decorations, celebrating the magic of Christmas in the heart of town," Cr King added.

Santa will also be making an appearance across some of our services.

"The Swan Hill Library will host its special Storytime event, featuring heartwarming Christmas stories, joyful carols to sing along to, and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus. The Pioneer Settlement will also welcome Santa for some good old-fashioned photo opportunities, delighting families once again," Cr King said.

In addition, the community carols, markets and home light displays will add to the abundance of festive fun to the region. Council have joined forces with Swan Hill Incorporated again to put together the "Murray Little Christmas" guide which will highlight all things Christmas, keep an eye on our social pages and newspapers for this.
