Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a swimmer at Goughs Bay.
It's believed the 26-year-old Noble Park man, who was on a camping trip, went swimming in Lake Eildon shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday 28 September.
The man was located by police about 12.45pm yesterday afternoon.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police would like to thank all who assisted in the search.
