Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged two men, seized multiple weapons, drugs and a clandestine lab following raids in Sydney's south west.
Established in May 2025, Task Force Falcon targets all organised crime, public place shootings and gangland violence committed by Organised Crime Network's (OCN's) in Sydney.
Following the work of specialist police from State Crime Command with assistance of Metropolitan Regions and the NSW Crime Commission, Task Force Falcon has arrested 685 people, resulting in 1755 charges.
About 8.10am yesterday (Tuesday 28 July 2026) strike force detectives executed a firearm prohibition order compliance check at a home on Marsh Parade, Casula.
During the search police seized compound bows, gel blasters, knuckle dusters, laser pointer and baton. Officers also uncovered a hydraulic pill press and a clandestine lab allegedly used to manufacture steroids.
A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with two counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, possess tablet press or drug encapsulator, three counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, possess unauthorised pistol and deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100000 & $5000.
He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Wednesday 29 July 2026).
About 9.30am yesterday, detectives – with assistance from Raptor Highway Patrol – stopped a vehicle in Liverpool and arrested a 31-year-old man.
At the same time, police executed a search warrant at Ives Avenue, Liverpool, where they seized a rifle and pistol ammunition, 550g of cocaine, electronic devices $5000 in cash and $20,000 in counterfeit cash.
The 31-year-old man was taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with acquire pistol-subject to firearms prohibition order, supply prohibited firearm to unauthorised person, supply prohibited drug greater than commercial quantity, possess ammunition w/o holding licence/permit/authority, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime greater than $5000, two counts of deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100000 & $5000 and owner/occupier knowingly expose child to drugs.
He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Wednesday 29 July 2026).
