Tasmania Police Charge Trio Following Overnight Burglaries

Three men from Launceston have been charged following a series of burglaries targeting brand new power tools overnight.

Acting Detective Inspector Andrew Hanson said police were called after a red Mazda ute was stolen from Prospect, and used in burglaries at Evandale and Invermay.

"Police then executed a search warrant and recovered the stolen items in Rocherlea."

"We are pleased to be able to return the property to its rightful owners, as thefts like this can have a significant impact on local businesses."
