Taste Great Southern has revealed the tantalising program for its four-day 2026 event, with tickets now on sale.

Taking place from 5-8 March 2026, the festival is one of WA's premier culinary events and proudly supported by the Cook Government through Tourism WA's Regional Events Program.

Next year's program showcases the abundant fresh produce, local producers, world-class chefs and iconic locations found in the Great Southern region, including:

  • Tides of Taste x Singlefile at Maitraya Retreat Homestead, featuring a collaboration between acclaimed chef Jo Barrett and WA stand outs Evan Hayter, Paul "Yoda" Iskov, and Corey Rozario;
  • renowned chef and television personality Guy Turland for Peak to Plate, which gives adventurers the opportunity to hike through the stunning Porongurups and refuel with a gourmet lunch;
  • the new Taste Market event, which brings together local wine producers, chef pop-ups, sommelier-hosted masterclasses and more; and
  • the Denmark Wine Hop, offering a continuous bus loop so enthusiasts can explore the region's top wineries.

As the region's flagship food, wine and culture festival, Taste Great Southern is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the Great Southern region, generating millions of dollars for the local economy, including valuable tourism dollars for local business and jobs.

The event forms part of the Cook Government's events strategy to diversify the State's economy by driving higher out-of-State visitor attendance and creating a calendar of events that is always on, year-round.

The festival adds to Albany's Bicentenary commemorations taking place next year, which includes the Australian-exclusive Lighting the Sound landscape illumination event.
