Teacher Charged in Central Coast Sexual Assault Case

A school teacher has been charged over allegedly sexually assaulting a girl on the state's Central Coast.

Child Abuse Squad detectives commenced an investigation on Saturday (13 September 2025), following reports a 15-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by a 42-year-old man.

Following inquiries, about 5.55pm yesterday (Sunday 14 September 2025), detectives – with assistance from officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes and Brisbane Water Police Districts – executed a search warrant at a unit in Kincumber.

During the search, police seized a car and laptops for forensic examination.

About 6.30pm, detectives attached to South Sydney Police Area Command arrested a 42-year-old man at Sydney Domestic Airport where it will be alleged he was intending to travel to South Africa via Perth.

The man was taken to Mascot Police Station, where he was charged with seven counts of aggravated - sexual intercourse child 14 and 16 years, three counts of intentionally sexually touch child 10 and 16 years and groom child for unlawful sexual activity.

The 42-year-old man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 7 today (Monday 15 September 2025.

Police will allege in court the man, who works as school teacher, sexually assaulted the girl on multiple occasions in August and September 2025.
