Teddy Bears Picnic is back

If you go down in the woods on April 2nd you'll be sure of a big surprise as the Teddy Bears picnic makes a fun-filled return!

Pop on your bear onesie, grab you favourite toy and head along to the Moama Recreation Reserve for a day of entertainment.

Everyone's favourite groups the Mik Maks will be entertaining the crowds, along with a special appearance from Bluey!

Catch Bluey, Bingo and their friends on stage for a live interactive experience. Get ready to play Magic Asparagus, Magic Xylophone, Keepy Uppy and more.

The day also features some giant bubble fun with twisted science, face painting, ice-cream from the Port Ice Creamery and a BBQ from the local Lions Club.

Murray River Council mayor, Chris Bilkey is encouraging locals and visitors to head along.

"The Teddy Bears Picnic is one of my favourite annual events. It's great to see families and children with their teddy bears enjoying a day out in our beautiful surrounds."

"With face painting, bubble fun, giveaways and plenty of space to relax, there'll be something for the whole family to enjoy!"

The event kicks off at 11am on Sunday April 2.
