Teen Interviewed After Greenvale School Affray

A teenager has been arrested by police following an affray outside a secondary school in Greenvale yesterday.

The 16-year-old has been interviewed in relation to attempted armed robbery and affray

The girl from the Whittlesea area attended a police station last night. She has been released pending summons.

The arrest follows an incident where a group of five people attended outside a school campus on Glencairn Drive about 3.10pm on Wednesday 8 October.

The group approached several students before a scuffle broke out.

Two students sustained minor injuries not requiring treatment.

The group then fled in a vehicle.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and the investigation remains ongoing.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have filmed vision of the incident to please come forward.
