Teenager charged over stabbing - Dural

A teenager has been stabbed by another teenager in Sydney's north-west overnight.

About 10pm yesterday (Thursday 1 June 2023), emergency services attended the intersection of Frensham Place and Martin Place, Dural, following a report that a male had been stabbed.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 17-year-old male at the scene. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command secured a crime scene.

It will be alleged the male had been stabbed at a carpark on Allen Way before running from the scene towards Frensham Place.

About 2.45am today (Friday 2 June 2023) Detectives arrested a 16-year-old male at a home in Cattai.

He was taken to Castle Hills Police Station and charged with affray where he was refused bail to appear at a children's court today (Friday 2 June 2023).

Both teenagers are known to one another.

Investigations are continuing.
