Teenager injured in St Albans hit-run

Brimbank Police are investigating a hit-run collision in St Albans on 9 August.

It's understood a 13-year-old boy was hit by a car at the pedestrian crossing at Main Road West, St Albans near Amy Street just after 8:30am.

The driver did not stop and fled the scene.

The 13-year-old St Albans boy sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The vehicle is described as a Blue Ford Falcon sedan.

The driver is yet to be located and investigations remain ongoing.
