Teens Charged in South Coast School Break-In

Two teenagers have been charged with break and enter offences, after allegedly breaking into a school on the South Coast.

Between 10.45pm on Saturday 11 April 2026 and 12.45am on Sunday 12 April 2026, a school on Moss Street Nowra, was allegedly broken into.

Police will allege the administration building sustained extensive damage after computers were smashed, along with a glass door and windows.

Police will also allege several items were stolen including a portable speaker. A Toyota Hiace van, was allegedly driven through a roller door and around the school grounds causing further damage.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District responded and established a crime scene. CCTV was seized from the scene.

About 11.50am yesterday (Sunday 12 April 2026), two teenage boys – aged 13 – were arrested on Journal Street, Nowra.

They were taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.

One of the boys was refused bail to appear in a children's court today ( Monday 13 April 2026).

The other boy was granted conditional bail to appear in a children's court on Thursday 30 April 2026.
