Tell us what you love about Ingleburn

Ingleburn residents are invited to tell us what they love about their suburb and what needs love at a pop-up community event in the suburb next week.

Council's Place and Projects Team will host the Love Ingleburn community hub to hear the thoughts of residents, community groups and business owners about what they enjoy most and what they would like to see changed.

In April, Council hosted the Love Leumeah community engagement sessions that led to streetscape improvements in the main street, a free community event and ideas for some long term planning for the future of Leumeah.

"Local residents have a unique insight into the area and we want to tap into this knowledge to inspire initiatives that will support the community and enhance the area," said Mayor George Brticevic.

"Ingleburn is a vibrant town that celebrates its heritage and is attracting investment and new development," Cr Brticevic said.

"We want to check in with the community to see what opportunities there might be to strengthen the town centre and connect residents,'' he said.

The Love Ingleburn pop-up hub will be held at 10am-12pm and 3pm-5pm on Wednesday 12 December on the corner of Oxford Road and Macquarie Road, Ingleburn.

Participants will receive a free coffee and snack on the day and will go into the draw to win one of two $150 grocery vouchers or a FitBit.

Residents who are unable to attend on the day are invited to fill out a short survey online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/SQSW8H9 and they will go into a draw to win a prize.
