As a result Devonport High School is set to benefit from construction projects advertised this weekend providing capital investment upgrade to students' learning environments.

The school will undergo a major re-development, and this weekend the tender for Architectural Services to manage the $10.5 million Devonport High School project has been released.

As well as providing better educational opportunities, this major capital project will also drive economic growth and create jobs in the Devonport area.

A total of $96 million is being invested across the state over the forward estimates in capital works which includes new schools, school upgrades, new Early Learning Hubs and school farm redevelopments.

These projects are a part of our commitment to ensure students have access to contemporary and flexible facilities where they have the greatest opportunity to explore their passions and discover a path to their future career.
