Theives use lost credit card - Melbourne CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two men believed to be involved in a theft leading to multiple deceptions in Melbourne CBD last month, Victoria Police say.

The victim reportedly lost their credit at an entertainment complex on Whiteman Street on the evening of 10 November.

It is believed that two males have located the credit card in the early hours of 11 November and have committed multiple deceptions leading to subsequent thefts throughout the Melbourne CBD.

One of the men is perceived as being Caucasian, in his mid-20s, wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and white Converse sneakers with a green and black pattern.

The other man was also perceived as being Caucasian, in his mid-20s, wearing a black Patagonia brand cap, and a black leather jacket. He also had a distinctive chest tattoo stating ‘1997’.

Police have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
