Therese Fedeli will fight for Leppington

Small businesswoman, Camden Mayor and Liberal candidate for Leppington, Therese Fedeli, will campaign to deliver more green spaces and amenities for local families, better transport interconnection and greater support for local multicultural communities.

Raised in Liverpool to an immigrant father and Australian mother, Therese's life and upbringing mirrors so many other migrant families – from going to the local catholic school, St Marys, to helping out in her parents' fruit shop, and getting her first job at a local bank branch in batching.

"Having run a small subcontracting business with my husband Frank, I am very conscious of the struggles that local businesses are going through," said Ms Fedeli. "We've had a very challenging three years, and between inflation and rate rises these challenges are not getting easier."

"I want to win the seat of Leppington, so that I could help deliver the local services and infrastructure that our growing region needs – better roads, more green and community spaces and more transport options.

"As a mother and a grandmother I want more local opportunities – so that our kids and grandkids have the option of great jobs in this community, rather than having to commute for hours."

"I am looking forward to campaigning for Leppington and if elected I will focus on getting support for local businesses, and taking pressure off family budgets. I would be a very strong voice in the Perrottet Government for more funding for frontline services and infrastructure that this community needs."
