Thieves use stolen credit card in Ivanhoe

Police are hoping to identify a woman in relation to an investigation into credit card fraud that occurred in June.

Investigators have been told the victim, a 27-year-old man, lost his credit cards near his home in Coburg sometime between 8.30am and 12.30pm on Sunday, 28 June.

It is believed that someone has located the cards and gone on a shopping spree purchasing goods to the total of $435.90 at a number of retail stores across Melbourne's north.

Police have released an image and CCTV of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance and is approximately 165cm tall.
