Fresh 2019 has reached the halfway point, with sold out workshops and events across with the mix of art, food, culture, sport and more drawing plenty of interest from the community.
The Fresh program creatively combines Seniors Festival and Youth Week celebrations into a month-long program of talks, workshops and events for people of all ages and backgrounds.
The month-long program rolls on this week into school holidays, with boredom-busting activities for younger people along with events for the wider community.
"One of the highlights of week three of Fresh are the songwriting workshops with Alexander Gow of Melbourne band Oh Mercy," Council's Director Community Janice Summerhayes said.
"Oh Mercy were a hit at Fusion last October and Alexander will be holding two songwriting workshops, one of which is specifically for youth.
"He is an ARIA-award winning songwriter and will share some of his go-to tools and perspectives to create music.
"Week three will also feature French classes, a girls Aussie rules clinic, an artist talk, outdoor movie screening and more.

Printed copies of the Fresh program from the Visitor Information Centre, Wagga City Library, Wagga Art Gallery, Museum of the Riverina and Civic Theatre. A Re-Fresh program with events hand-picked for over 70s by the Senior Citizens Club of Wagga Wagga is also available.
