Three Charged After 400kg Meth Seizure by Crime Squad

Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged three more people following the seizure of 400 kilograms of methylamphetamine under Strike Force Golporta.

Strike Force Golporta was established to investigate the alleged criminal activities of a central onshore facilitator believed to be coordinating operations on behalf of an offshore syndicate at the centre of the current OCN conflict.

About 10am on Tuesday 28 April 2026, strike force detectives – with assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU) – executed a search warrant in Emu Plains.

At the address, police located 39 large buckets and 140 boxes filled with foam and miscellaneous packaging which were consistent with a drug extraction process.

As such, specialist police from the Drug and Firearms Squad's Chemical Operations Unit, the Technical Forensic Support Unit and Fire & Rescue NSW were called in to safely process the scene.

It was established that each bucket contained approximately 10kg of methylamphetamine totalling 390kg.

Two people – a 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man alleged to be an onshore coordinator for a high-profile Organised Criminal Network (OCN), have been charged and remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, about 6am on Wednesday 27 May 2026, strike force detectives executed 11 search warrants across Sydney.

During the warrants, police seized 11 kilograms of methylamphetamine, $60,000 cash, electronic devices and items relevant to their investigation.

Eight more people were charged and remain before the courts.

As inquiries continued, about 6.40am yesterday (Thursday 28 May 2026), strike force detectives arrested a 26-year-old woman in Lethbridge Park.

She was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with six counts of supply prohibited drugsmall &indictable &

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 10 June 2026.

About 11am yesterday, strike force detectives arrested a 21-year-old man at Blacktown Police Station.

He was charged with seven counts of supply prohibited drugsmall &

He was refused bail and appeared at Blacktown Local Court the same day, where he was further refused bail to appear at the same court on Thursday 4 June 2026.

About 3.40pm yesterday, strike force detectives arrested a 25-year-old man in Carlton.

He was taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and passenger not disclose driver's/other passenger's identity.

He was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Friday 29 May 2026).
