NZEI are slamming the Public Service Commissioner for offering individual employment agreements to non-union primary teachers. E tū have said that the proposed loss of 350 jobs at Heinz Wattie's facilities is a huge blow to workers. Beneficiary numbers have soared to a 12-year high, under a government that promised a reduction. The Cook Strait Ferry Replacement Programme is already $167 million over budget, newly released documents reveal.
