TMC Revamps Leadership and Org Structure

Toyota City, Japan, May 27, 2026―On July 1, Toyota Motor Corporation intends to make the following organizational and Executives and senior professional/senior management changes.

  1. Organizational changes

  • Production Engineering Group (newly established)
  • Production Engineering Development Center (abolished)
  • Manufacturing engineering functions across the Production Group, Production Engineering Development Center, Powertrain Company, and other relevant organizations will be consolidated under the newly established Production Engineering Group.
  • By bringing together the capabilities and expertise cultivated in each area and further integrating engineering, production, and manufacturing engineering, Toyota will strengthen its manufacturing capabilities for the future.

  1. Changes in Areas of Responsibility for Executives and Senior Professional/Senior Management Employees (Chief Officers, Presidents, Fellows etc.)
