The Hobart City Council Planning Committee has approved a development application for the two existing televisions and associated enclosing structure/frame to remain in place at 53-61 Salamanca Place (The Pavilion).

512-514 Nelson Road, 12 Ribbon Gum Court and adjacent road reserve, 22 Lalwinya Road and 512A Nelson Road, Mount Nelson

The Hobart City Council Planning Committee has approved a development application for a subdivision (17 new lots) and associated works and hydraulic infrastructure at 512-514 Nelson Road, 12 Ribbon Gum Court and adjacent road reserve, 22 Lalwinya Road and 512A Nelson Road, Mount Nelson.

The proposal includes 17 lot divisions at 512 Nelson Road, demolition of dwelling at 514 Nelson Road, associated hydraulic infrastructure at 12 Ribbon Gum Court, associated works at 512A Nelson Road and 22 Lalwinya Road; and works within the Nelson Road road reserve.

23 Nelson Road, Sandy Bay (Queenborough Oval)

The Hobart City Council Planning Committee has approved a development application for partial demolition, alterations, extensions (change rooms and toilet facilities) and associated works at 23 Nelson Road, Sandy Bay (Queenborough Oval).

This City of Hobart proposal includes the demolition of the existing toilet block; partial demolition of tier seating and walls on north eastern end of the oval; construction of a new hardstand forecourt and resurfaced access road on south eastern end of the oval; extension of the grandstand to provide new toilet facilities; alterations to grandstand to provide new ramp, walkway, stairwell and accessible lift; internal grandstand alterations to create change rooms, medical room, bathrooms and multipurpose room; and construction of new change rooms with rooftop viewing terrace and kiosk.
