Traffic crash: Spring Mountain

Police are investigating an alleged dangerous operation of a vehicle following a serious traffic crash at Spring Mountain today, August 29.

Initial information indicates at about 9.20am, two motorcycles were allegedly driving dangerously along Grande Avenue before one motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into a bus stop sign.

The rider, a 32-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandria Hospital with leg injuries in a serious but stable condition.

Investigators would like to speak with any witnesses or anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV vision.

The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
