Police have charged a Kelso man with traffic offences following a four-vehicle traffic crash in Townsville on Saturday night, 27 December.
It will be alleged around 10.45pm, a blue Ford Falcon attempted to do a burn out along Entertainment Dive when it lost control and hit three other vehicles.
The Falcon collided with a parked red Mazda BT-50 and two other stationary vehicles, a white Holden Commodore and a silver Nissan Stagea before coming to a stop.
There were no injuries reported from the crash.
The 23-year-old Kelso man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving a vehicle whilst over the middle alcohol limit.
He was issued a notice to appear at the Townsville Magistrates Court on 23 January, 2026.
Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with relevant vision of the blue Ford Falcon to come forward.
