After an extended tender process, Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is pleased to announce Queensland company Taylor Builders has been selected as the successful tenderer for the rehabilitation of the Millmerran Pool.
TRC Environment and Community Services Committee chair Cr James O'Shea said Council was pleased to have Taylor Builders on board to progress the project.
"Council officers have been reviewing the design for the new facilities submitted by Taylor Builders as part of their tender package in anticipation of getting it ready for approval by Council and State authorities as appropriate," he said.
"Works will be carried out over three stages, which will involve finalisation and approval of the design, authority approvals and construction. Removal of the existing facilities will take place just ahead of construction starting.
