Council is set to pay tribute to the many volunteers and services who have stepped up to support their community during COVID, with a special projection show to be launched on January 17.

A slideshow featuring images of staff and volunteers from Mission, Resilience NSW, Far West Local Health District, Maari Ma, Salvos, and Council will be projected for a full week at the Town Hall Facade and Civic Centre.

Council's Community Development Officer, Dionne Devlin, said the slideshow would provide well-deserved recognition for frontline staff.

"This is a great collaborative community story, and a fabulous opportunity to highlight the strength of Broken Hill when we all work together," she said.

"There's some really wonderful images in the slideshow and I hope members of the community can find some time to take a look at the display."

The slideshow will be visible from sundown at both buildings.
