Trio arrested in Sunshine

Sunshine Police have arrested two men and a woman following an investigation into stolen property in Sunshine.

Acting on intelligence, police attended a Cornwall Road, Sunshine address around 1.30pm yesterday (7 September). They allegedly located a motorbike, believed to be stolen, in the rear yard.

Whilst speaking with the residents at the address, police will allege they also located drugs of dependence and stolen number plates.

Two of the occupants were also allegedly wanted in relation to an earlier theft of motor vehicle.

A 24-year-old Sunshine woman has been charged with handle stolen goods, possess drug of dependence and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

A 25-year-old Sunshine man has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, theft, negligently deal with property suspected proceeds of crime, unlicensed driving and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

A 24-year old Sunshine man has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear before the Sunshine Magistrates' Court today (8 September).
