Trio arrested with stolen goods, South Australia

Police have arrested two men and a woman following the discovery of a number of items allegedly stolen from a caravan park.

Just before 1.30am on Monday 23 March, patrols spotted a Mazda utility on Tapleys Hill Road at West Beach and spoke to the three occupants. Police searched the utility and located 10 televisions, three DVD players, a kettle BBQ and gas bottle, two tables, two lamps and two beach towels.

Enquiries revealed the items had been stolen from cabins at a nearby caravan park.

A 33 and a 38-year-old woman from Hilton, were both charged with unlawful possession, theft and breach of bail while a 53-year-old man from Cowandilla was charged with unlawful possession, dealing with stolen property, breach of bail and drive unlicenced.

The man and woman men were bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 24 April while the other man was refused bail and will appear in the same court later today.
