Two arrested and drugs found after Andrews Farm shooting investigation, South Australia

Two people have been arrested and drugs have been seized following an investigation into a shooting at Andrews Farm last month.

It is alleged that about 10pm on Thursday 18 January, police were called to the Lyell McEwin Hospital after a 26-year-old man presented at the emergency section with two small shrapnel wounds to the leg believed to have come from a firearm.

The victim initially refused to provide details of the incident to police.

Further investigations led police to a house at Walkerville yesterday (14 February) where they located methamphetamine, heroin, and three litres of fantasy, along with a taser and knuckle dusters.

A 40-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with aggravated acts to endanger life, along with drugs and weapons offences. He was refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

A 22-year-old woman from Klemzig was arrested for three counts of trafficking a controlled drug.
