Two boys charged relating to damage incidents

Joondalup Detectives with the assistance of Wanneroo police have charged two boys in relation to a series of damage incidents in the Woodvale and Wangara areas on Wednesday, 8 April 2020.

It is alleged between midnight and 3.25am, the boys damaged tyres and broke windows on several vehicles as well as damaging property in the yard of a church and a home under construction.

The boys, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, both from Wanneroo have each been charged with:-

• Two counts of Criminal Damage;

• One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit; and

• One count of Stealing.

They are due to appear before the Joondalup Children's Court on 14 April 2020.
